About Explore Latin Arts
Explore Latin Arts is the ideas, works, and adventurers of Richard A Pezzino and Nathan G Heald. Explore Latin Arts works in cooperation with Tarasco Latin Arts Gallery based in San Francisco, CA to provide a showroom for these arts in the United States. Tarasco Latin Arts Gallery was founded by partners Eugenio Herrera and Douglas McClure in 1996 to promote the culture and economies of different ethnic groups within the Latin American world. For the past twelve years it has grown to be one if the largest gallery of its type in San Francisco and on the west coast of the United States. We currently feature products from Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Brazil and Chile. We have ceramics, textiles, sculptures, paintings, chess sets, stained glass, Alpaca clothing and much more.
In addition to these products and travel resources we also offer services in the world of custom made old world furniture from the craftsmen at Tesoros Mexicanos. This workshop has been established for more than a decade in Tijuana, Mexico by the brother of Eugene, Juan Carlos Herrera. Tesoros Mexicanos makes custom furniture, doors, fountains, stained glass, carvings and other one of a kind works of art. It is more than worth it to take a stroll through his workshops in the
Mercado de Artesanias in Tijuana, and see the abilities of his craftsmen first hand.
